Joyce Jean Green
March 19, 1938 — June 4, 2017
Joyce "Jean" Green of Harlan, KY passed away June 4, 2017 after a lengthy illness at Carlyle House in Kettering, OH.
Jean was a retired teacher from Harlan City Schools. She is preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Green, Jr, and her parents Walter and Thelma Jackson.
She is survived by brother Bob (Joyce) Jackson, Nieces, Jennifer (Robert) Grice, and Jill Jackson. Great-Nieces, Erika Watamaniuk, Molly Grice, Nicole Jackson, and Susan Jackson, all of Kettering, OH. Great-Nephew, Austin Grice of Arlington, VA. Also survived by brother-in-law, Dr. Murphy (Judy) Green.
Family will receive friends at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 10 am-12 noon. Graveside service immediately following at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Kyle Burnette officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to be made in Jean's memory to Hospice of Dayton, OH 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
