Joe Bryant Snapp, 92, of Harlan, Ky passed away Wednesday February 4, 2026 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Joe was born May 24, 1933 to the late Hugh and Della Snapp in Prestonsburg, Ky. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a retired coal miner.
Besides his parents he also proceeded in death by his wife Phyllis Dean Snapp.
He is survived by his sons; Darrell (Gina) Snapp of Maynardville, TN and Bryan Snapp of Knoxville, TN, his daughter; Lyndora (Rick) Lindsay of Maynardville, TN, granddaughters; Michelle (Steven) Branscomb of Maynardville, TN, Laura (Kenneth) Rutherford of Powell, TN, and Rachel (Blake) Edwards of Oliver Springs, TN. Great grandchildren Ella and Avery Branscomb, Lexi and Abby Rutherford. His best friend; Eddie Pridemore.
A brief Service will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday February 7, 2026 at at Anderson Laws & Jones Funeral Home and private burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery Keith, Ky.
