Dr. Jeremy Otis Jackson, 48 passed away suddenly at the Harlan ARH on Wednesday evening of November 12, 2025.
Jeremy was born May 12, 1977 in Harlan to Otis Jackson and the late Vickie Pfaff Owens. He was a 1995 Graduate of Harlan High School. He then attended Southeast Community College from there he attended and graduated from the University of Kentucky. It was then that he went on to pursue his dream and graduated from Pikeville Medical School and attended Residency at Hazard ARH. For the rest of his career he was proud and honored to serve his hometown of Harlan by working at the ARH Daniel Boone Clinic. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Verda First Baptist Church, Verda, KY.
Besides his mother, Vickie he is preceded in death by his father in law, James Howard.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Billie Jackson; his adoring children, Jeremy Otis Jackson, II and Alexis Zoey Jackson; his father and stepmother, Otis and Julie Jackson; his stepfather, Fred Owens, Jr; his brother, Jason Jackson and wife Hope; his niece, Addison Hope Jackson and nephew, Caiden Jase Jackson; his mother in law, Carol Howard; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and his online gaming community.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 pm Monday (Nov. 17) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday (Nov. 18) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Danny McCreary officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Miller, Austin Miller, Jason Strong, Jason Jackson, Caiden Jackson and Chris Jackson.
