Celebration of Life for Jeannie Begley Morgan

In lieu of a traditional funeral, Jeannie asked that those who wish to remember her do so through celebration — through laughter, creativity, and connection. Her life was a vibrant expression of joy, and she wanted her memory to be honored in that same spirit.

We will gather to celebrate Jeannie’s life at the Begley and Bray Muncy’s Creek cemetery tentatively on or around Memorial Day 2026. This special day will be filled with stories and remembrance — a joyful tribute to the beautiful soul she was.

Until then, please honor Jeannie in spirit on November 3, 2025 which would have been her 67th birthday by doing something that reflects her essence:

  • Light a candle
  • Howl at the moon
  • Dance in the rain
  • Paint a picture
  • Or simply share a moment of joy with someone you love

Jeannie was known for her free spirit and her deep love for family. She found joy in being silly or as she would say, “acting a fool.” She adored music, art, and nature, and had a magical way of cheering people up, even in the darkest moments. Her gift was helping others find the light and she did so with art, humor, and heart.

Let us celebrate Jeannie by embracing the beauty in the world and in one another — just as she did. She taught us to see with open eyes and love with open hearts. Her legacy is one of inclusion, wonder, and the unwavering belief that every person is worthy of joy and belonging.
