Janice Carolyn Grubbs, 70 of Cawood passed away peacefully on Friday November 3, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center.
Janice was born March 17, 1947 in Harlan to the late Simon and Claudia Hall King. She was a homemaker.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Grubbs; brothers, Jesse Ley and Simon King, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Tice (Carol) Grubbs and Waylon (Tonya) Grubbs; grandchildren, Devon, Ryan, Kyle, Shelby, and Brandon Farley; brothers, Floyd King, Sylvester King, Henry King, Clarence King, and Curtis King; sisters, Georgia Ross, and Joanna Vandagriff; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she cherished as family.
In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated.
