Janice Wilson Card, 70, Louisville, KY formerly of Harlan, KY, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the Baptist East Hospice and Palliative Care Unit.

She lived at Chenoweth Woodsin, Middletown Kentucky. Janice was born on September 02, 1947, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Kila Wilson. She graduated from Harlan High School in 1965, she attended Spalding University, Nursing School Program, Berea University and achieved a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree, University of Kentucky Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College and worked for The University of Louisville Hospital as Head Nurse, she also worked at the VA Hospital in Louisville and Baptist East Hospital in Jefferson county, Ky.She married Morgan A Card in August 1966. She was a member of Harlan Baptist Church. Janice was a very kind and gentle soul; she had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others.

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; loving Daughters, Christa M. Kotheimer (Don), of Louisville, Kentucky; Charla Denise Dillon (Jeff) of Shelbyville, Kentucky; and Grand Children, Shelby Moreland and Kara Moreland;  Her Cousins Corretta Burgan Mitchell and John L Mitchell, Leesa and Mickayla Card; And Many Dear friends;  She loved  Stephen King novels and was good with numbers and games – from the word game Jumble to Scrabble and was you a tough competitor,she was very sharp up to the very end and crosswords and Mahjong were two of her passions. Keeping with her wishes all services will be private and she will will be laid to rest in her beloved home of Harlan Co., KY.
