James Carson Shepherd, 54 of Gulston passed away Saturday May 17, 2014 at his home.
He was born April 28, 1960 in Harlan, KY and believed in the Church of God faith.
He is preceded in death by his father, Carson Shepherd; his step father, Don King.
Survivors include his significant other, Jerusha Inman; children, James David Shepherd, Carson Lynn Shepherd, and Dora Inman; grandson, James Gabriel Hansel; his mother, Faye King; brothers, Darrell Shepherd, and Jason Shepherd; sisters, Liza Brooks; special niece, Danielle Shepherd; special nephews, Joseph and Ethan Shepherd; special sister-in-law, Sandy Shepherd; step mother, Josie Shepherd.
Visitation will be 5-7:00 pm Tuesday (May 20) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Private burial will take place.
