James Junior Saylor

James Junior Saylor, 61 of Coldiron, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Hazard ARH.

James was born on February 22, 1964 to the late James Craig Saylor and Willow Sue Brock Saylor. James believed in the holiness faith. He loved working on lawnmowers.

Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Saylor.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jessie "Peachy" Saylor, his children; Angel (Ricky) Daniels of Pathfork, KY, Otis Craig (Leanann) Saylor of Pathfork, KY, Crystal (Will) Daniels of Blackstar, KY, and Kristie (Leagh) Screase of Bledsoe, KY, a host of grandchildren, a brother; Jimmy (Barbara) Saylor of Molus, KY, a sister; Christy Gail (Rufus) Saylor of Molus, KY, and a special friend; Allyshia Stephens. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be on Monday (Oct. 20) from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday (Oct. 21) at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Freeman Clark and Rev. John Neal officiating.

Burial will follow funeral services on Tuesday (Oct. 21) at the Saylor-Simpson Cemetery in Coldiron, Kentucky.
