James Nunn

James William Nunn, 58 of Rosspoint passed away at his home on Monday July, 4, 2016.
James was born Jan. 3, 1958 in Pineville, KY to the late James and Myrtle Smith Nunn. He was a retired coal miner with over 30 years of service. He volunteered at the Christ Hand’s in Harlan and had served on the former Chaplain Corp’s of that Harlan Co. Sheriff’s Office. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He believed in the Baptist Faith.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved son, Jimmy Dann Nunn; his grandparents, William and Delora Smith; Brother, Rick Nunn; sister, Jeanette Bush.
He is survived by his granddaughter, Hallie Nunn of Argillite, KY; sister, Lora Nunn of Kettering, OH; his partner, Reba Sexton of Rosspoint and her children; nieces and nephew, Teresa, Beverly, Kristy, Angela, and Rick; the mother of his son, Mary North Curry of Molus; he leaves other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Thursday (July 7) from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the Molus Pentecostal Church with a closing Prayer at 7:00 pm by Pastor Ray Stepp.
Private burial will be Friday (July 8) at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens where he will be laid to rest with his son.
