James Phillip Napier

James Phillip Napier, 44 of Bledsoe, Kentucky passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

James was born on October 15, 1979 in Harlan, Kentucky to Jerry Napier, Sr. and Glenna K. Napier. He believed in the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting knives, guns and working on vehicles.

James is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Wayne Napier, Jr; great-grandmother; Georgie Taylor Burkhart, his grandparents; James and Opal Lee Napier and Hazel Burkhart, and an aunt; Dina Maria Burkhart.

He is survived by his parents; Jerry Napier, Sr. and Glenna K. Napier, his wife Johna Napier; sons James Garrett Napier and Phillip Jadon Napier; his daughter; Alyssa Leann (Allen) Burkhart, and his sister; Rebecca (Chris) Kilbourne and grandson; Jason Burkhart, nieces and nephews; Noah, Kaylyn, Haley (Brandon) Remy, and Great-nephew Everson Remy.

Visitation will be Wednesday (July 10) from 4 to 6 PM at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow on Wednesday (July 10) at 6 PM in the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Chris Kilbourne and Brother Lonnie Napier officiating.

Graveside services will be Thursday (July 11) at 12 PM at the Napier Cemetery in Bledsoe, Kentucky.
