Hugh R. Saylor

Hugh R. Saylor, 89 of Wallins, KY passed away on Monday afternoon of May 12, 2025.

Hugh was born May 30, 1935 in Molus, KY to the late Fred and Carrie Saylor. He was retired from General Motors with 30 years of service. He was an avid UK Wildcat fan.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Doris Ann Saylor; sister in law, Pat Bloomer Saylor.

He is survived by his children, Rodney (Becky) Saylor and Beverly Annette Saylor; grandson, Brian (Louisa) Saylor; great grandson, Jonathan Saylor; his brother Fred A. Saylor; he leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be 10:00 am Saturday at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 South 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am Saturday in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with his grandson, Rev. Brian Saylor officiating.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.
