Hobert Green, Jr. 69 of Cawood passed away Sunday April 7, 2013 at his home.
Hobert was born October 5, 1943 in Sampson, KY to the late Hobert J. Green, Sr and Bessie May Green.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Donnie Green and an infant child; his brothers, William, Harve, and Edward Green; his sister, Della May Bollinger.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Green of Cawood; his children, Allen Green of Dayton, OH, Glenda Green of Sidney, OH, Jack (Jackie) Green of Anna, OH, Kim (Tim) Spellman of St. Paris, OH, Tabitha (James) Bolton of Harlan, John Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Chad (Angela) Green of Cawood; 2 sisters, Barbara “Bobbie” (Dennis) Phillips, Mary Sue (Roger) Smith, and Don Green all of Smith; grandchildren, Brian, Tiffany, and Whitney Green, Tye Spellman, Timothy and April Green, Anthony Sapp, Donald Green, Michael and Brianna Hall, Chris and David Bolton, 3 step grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Visitation will be after 4:00 pm Wednesday April 10, 2013 until the funeral hour at the Pace Chapel in Smith.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday April 11, 2013 at Pace Chapel with Rev. Richard Stewart and Rev. Russell Gilbert officiating.
Burial will follow in the Green Cemetery at Smith.
