Hilbert "Sonny" Noe

  Hilbert "Sonny" Noe, 79 of Keith passed away peacefully on Sunday morning of February 11, 2024 at the home of his daughters following a brief battle with Cancer.

  Sonny was born August 9, 1944 to the late Iva Hensley Bailey. He was raised by his mother and Orville Bailey, who stepped in as his father, many knew him as Sonny Bailey. He was a carpenter by trade, building or repairing houses in Harlan County.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing every chance he could and was very good at both.

  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Noe.

  He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, John Derrick Noe and Blake (Gina) Gross; two daughters, Kristie Noe and Tracy (Gregory) Eldridge; 13 grandchildren, Jacob, Isaac, Jordan, Luke, Courtney, Lindsey, Eric, Jake, Andrew, Deborah, Shylar, Destiny and Lacie; 9 great grandchildren, Naomi, Ivy, Sohpia, Khloe, Eli, Gabriel, Axel, Troy, and Charlie Ann; two brothers, David Bailey and Orville Bailey, Jr; two aunts, Mickey Cloyd and Nancy Sue Brown; special cousin, Mickey (Rick) Howard, and his wonderful community of friends at Conley Loop, especially Donnie Smith, along with other family and friends to mourn his passing.

   Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Wednesday (Feb. 14) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

   Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Bro. David Bailey and Bro. Greg Eldridge officiating. 

   Burial will follow in the Shoemaker Cemetery at Keith, KY.

   Pallbearers will be Jacob Eldridge, Isaac Eldridge, Jordan Eldridge, Luke Eldridge, Brandon Howard and Donnie Smith.
