Helen Baker Moore, 84 of Harlan, Kentucky passed away Tuesday May 3, 2016 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born August 3, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Elsie and John P. Baker. She was a former member of the Harlan-Sunshine Church of God. She had been a secretary with a lending company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Moore; brothers, Wayne Baker and Rexford Baker; and sisters, Lois Wallace, Ida Sommers, and Ethel Spurlock.
Surviving are her brother, John (Jackie) M. Baker of Lexington; sister-in-law, Mary Baker of Harlan; Special sister, Mary Kathryn Peters of Loyall, Special Friends, Virginia Sizemore of Harlan and Shirley Hornsby of Harlan. Several Nieces, nephews and other relatives will also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-7:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will follow Friday at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Nick Noe officiating.
Interment will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at Resthaven Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
