Helen Forester
January 5, 1926 — July 30, 2014
Helen B. Forester passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at her home. She had lived here most of her life. She was a beautician and had worked in the family business at Powers and Horton. She believed in the Church of Christ faith and attends the Poor Fork Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Forester and her parents Orie and Polly J. Browning.
She is survived by one daughter, Kim Forester (Bob) Stanton; two grandchildren Sasha (Taylor) Voss of Belleveue, KY and Gabrielle Stanton of Harlan, KY; sisters, Jewel (CF) Robinson of Louisville, KY and Edith Storms of Keavy, KY; brothers, James (Jackie) Browning of Alabama and Bill (Mary Ruth) Browning of Keavy, KY; aunt, Gladys Browning of Columbia, TN; nephews, Mike (Patti) Storms of Keavy, KY, Bill Ray (Renee) Browning, David Scott, Mike Forester, Joel (Tami) Forester, Bobby (Rose Ann) Cornett, Donnie Cornett, Andrew Forester, Dan Forester, John McPherson, and Brian McPherson; and niece, Carol McPherson.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.
Interment Services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Resthaven Cemetery. James Forrester will be officiating the services. Taylor Yoss, Blake Hubbs, Mike Forester, Joel Forester, Andrew Forester, and Dan Forester will serve as Pallbearers.
