Helen Brock Burkhart, 75 of Greeneville, Tennessee formerly of Coldiron, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at her daughters home in Morristown, Tennessee with her family by her side.
Helen was born on February 28, 1949 in Harlan County, Kentucky to the late Estel and Rinda Brock. She attended Coldiron Church of God.
Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sylus Burkhart; 6 sisters; Mildred Pitt, Macie Brock, Virginia Hunter, Ella Dudley, Reva Brandonisio, and Alice Morgan, 5 brothers; Bud Brock, H.T. Brock, Willis Brock, James Brock, and Lawrence Brock.
Helen is survived by her daughters; Rachel (Joseph) Yose of Waco, Texas, Lisa (Randy) Pillion of Asheboro, North Carolina, and Melinda "Susie" (Mike) Lyner of Morristown, Tennessee, her grandchildren; Ryan Yose, Amber Turbyfill, Kalyn Yose, Kayla Pickard, Paige Hernandez, Jacob Pillion, and Colton Pillion, her great-grandchildren; Cayden Turbyfill, Addylyn Yose, Ryker Yose, Avery Turbyfill, and Makenna Pickard.
Visitation will be Sunday (April 7) from 5 to 8 PM at the Coldiron Church of God.
Funeral services will be Monday (April 8) at 2 PM at the Coldiron Church of God with Rev. Jack Carmical and Bro. Donnie Fisher officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in the Laymon Cemetery at Coldiron, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be Clayvin Pickard, Kalyn Yose, Jacob Pillion, Colton Pillion, D.D. Brock, and Adam Brewer.
