Guy Ronnie Stringer

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guy Ronnie Stringer who departed this life on Friday, December 19, 2025 at the age of 89.

Ronnie was born September 12, 1936 at Tway, KY to the late Guy and Thelma Farmer Stringer. He was a self employed truck driver and a passionate and spirited individual with a love for life that resonated with everyone around him.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lou Ann Stringer.

He is survived by son, Chris (Janice) Stringer; granddaughter, Christa Stringer all of Cawood; his faithful companion, "Daisy"; and of course his many friends and relatives who will remember him for his kindness, warmth and the stories he shared from his rich life experiences.

As we celebrate his life let us remember his vibrant spirit, love for adventure and dedication to family and friends. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

In keeping with his wishes a graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday December 27, 2025 at the Fields Cemetery in Cawood, KY with the Rev. Sean Daniels officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Harlan Mission Outreach, Building Fund, PO Box 392, Grays Knob, KY 40829 or Venmo @HarlanMissionOutreach in memory of Ronnie.
