George Darryl Hall, 63 of Totz passed away on Saturday morning of February 22, 2020 at the Harlan ARH.
George Darryl was born March 9, 1956 in Cincinnati, OH to Arnie and Vicella Litras Hall. He was a graduate of Cumberland High School and had attended Southeast Community College. He was a former coal miner, former owner of the Sears Store in Harlan and well known school photographer all across eastern Kentucky and having owned Image Photography/Forever Memories in Harlan. He was a Kentucky Colonel, and avid golfer, and enjoyed watching UK Basketball; most recently he enjoyed going around Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home to enjoy a “big” cup of coffee, telling stories, and always enjoyed helping out and visiting with families members who had lost loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arnie Hall.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Vicella Hall of Cumberland; his wife of 22 years, Diana Nantz Hall of Totz; 1 stepson, Jonathan (Brittany) Wilson; 4 grandchildren for who he adored, Olivia, Easton, Zachariah, and Sarah Wilson; his aunt, Gwenda (Willie) Harrison of Cumberland; his uncle, Fred Hall of Indiana; 2 cousins who was like sister and brother to him, Tenna Harrison, Jeff (Lee) Harrison and their son Blake all of Cumberland. He leaves several other cousins, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will 7:00 pm Tuesday (February 25) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Hampton officiating.
Burial will be in the Peaceful Acres Cemetery at Hiram with Jonathan Wilson, Jeff Harrison, Randy Brackett, Jeff Ledford, Wade Hall, Roger Reavis, and the Staff of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home serving as Pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Tuesday (February 25) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
