Gary Hughett
October 11, 1953 — March 3, 2015
Gary Wayne Hughett, 61 of Maynardville, Tennessee, formerly of Harlan, KY died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in the Tennova North Knoxville Medical Center. He was a native of Harlan, Kentucky; he believed in the Holiness faith and he was a self-employed contractor.
Proceeding him in death are his parents, Iona Mae and Robert Hughett and grandparents, Lawrence and Lillie Taylor.
Surviving are one son, Gary Hughett, Jr. of Indiana; two daughters, Michelle Hughett of Texas and Tonya Turner of Harlan; one brother Bo Hughett of Georgia; two sisters, Teresa Hughett of Georgia and Beverly Hughett Middleton of Harlan, KY. Two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Joey Robertson officiating.
Interment will be Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.
