Eric Paul Bailey

Eric Paul “Rojo” Bailey, 62 of Wallins passed away Saturday afternoon of June 1, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Eric was born May 29, 1957 in Harlan to the late Paul L. and Anna Mullins Bailey. He was a retired Coal Miner for Fox Knob Coal Co. He loved fishing, hunting, 4 wheeling, riding horses. He believed in the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 19 years, Billie Lois Bailey; his siblings, Mark (Deborah) Bailey, Paula Stockhecke and David Cerra; children, Erica (Tom) DeMaro, Tara (Luther) Posey. Melissa Davis, Stacy (Danny) McMichael, Carl (Ashley) Crider, and Daniel (Brittany) Burkhart; Grandchildren, Madison Middleton, Cade Middleton, Harley Middleton, Shannon Saylor, David Saylor, Brook McMichael, Maleeya Crider, Madyln, Danielle, and Emmanuel Burkhart, Riley & Joshua Davis; great great grandchildren, Alice & Sophie Osborne. He leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday (June 4) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Carlos Wolfe officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Sandy Hendrickson.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday (June 5) at the Blanton-Bailey Cemetery at Wallins, KY. Family & Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery just prior to the service time.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Mowery, Kenny Farmer, Carl Crider, Daniel Burkhart, Cade Middleton, and Johnny Wayne Rowe.

Flowers are welcomed, but memorials are suggested to the Bluegrass Hospice Care, 2972 S. US Hwy. 25E, Barbourville, KY 40906 in memory of Eric.
