Doris I. Kinner, 91, Marion, died in Marion General Hospital at 4:21 a.m. on Monday, May 8, 2017. She was born in Ohio and married John C. Kinner, who preceded her in death on February 25, 2011.
Doris worked at Evarts High School (Kentucky) as a lunch room supervisor, and she loved animals.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol J. (Carl) White, Marion, Jackie Farmer, Berea, Kentucky, Kathy Blaney, Pawley's Island, South Carolina, and Laurie Shaffer, Marion; sons, Mark A. (Sandra) Kinner, Harlan, Kentucky, and John (Jane) Christian, Everats, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Connie; and son, Bruce.
A memorial service will be held at a later date for Doris.
At the family's request, donors may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice.
