Dorothy Hall, born April 11, 1925 at Dione, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 09, 2015 at her residence.  She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Jones and Lillie Cole Jones; brothers Harold Jones and Rob Jones; sisters Pauline Green and Louise Willis; husbands Eugene Harber and James Hall and niece Diane Williams.

She graduated from Cumberland High School in 1943, attended Southeast Community College for two years.  She was book-keeper for Kentucky Darby Coal Company for 5 ½ years, worked at Harlan National Bank for nine years, and was book-keeper for Rob Jones Motors for 4 ½ years.  She was Treasurer for the First Baptist Church of Loyall for 31 years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Loyall where she served as Sunday School Teacher of 4 & 5 year department for seven years and taught Sun Beams and GAs and was treasurer.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for 54 years.  She was a member of the Loyall Home Makers for over 50 years; member of the Mountain Laurel Chapter of Eastern Star; member of the Southeastern Cherokee Council, she was proud of her Cherokee heritage; member of the scrapmakers club; and a member of the Rita Dixon Circle of WMU.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Flanagan and husband Ed of Baxter; son, Gene Harber and wife Lila of Arcadia, FL; grandchildren, Tyler (Cristin) Harber of Alexandra, VA, James (Samantha) Flanagan of Knoxville, TN, Hannah (Julio) Leal of Port Charlote, FL, and Christy (Chris) Campbell of Lexington, KY; great-grandchildren, John Michael Berlin, Aslynn Harber, Emma Rose Leal, Charles Leal, Hunter Harber, Jitanna Campbell; sisters, June Irvin of Hopewell, VA, Margaret Keith of Roanoke, VA;  nephews, Bill Irvin, David Irvin, Arthur Irvin, Donald Irvin, Bill Keith, Tim Jones, Greg Jones, Matt Jones; nieces, Pam Goforth, Kim Willis, Anne Jones Ball, Karen Hurley, Cindy Neff, Melinda Lane, Robyn Jones; and special friend, Debbie Wolliver.

Visitation will be Monday, October 12, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home.  Dr. Roy Lucas and Rev. Adam Lake will officiate the services.  Music will be provided by Glen Durham and Ernie Hawkins.

Interment will be Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.  Deacons of the First Baptist Church of Loyall will serve as Pallbearers.  Fred Kelly, Wayne Collett, Don White, Glen Durham, Phillip Smith, Mitch Barrett, Wayne Ball, and Archie Ridings will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church of Loyall.
