Donahue Long

Donahue Long, 75 of Loyall passed away on Monday morning of May 17, 2021 at the LaFollette Medical Center in LaFollette, TN following a long illness.
Donahue was born December 2, 1945 in Harlan to the late Cody and Elsie Cornett Long. He was a retired mechanic and a Veteran of the United States Army. He had a love for animals and enjoyed fishing.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Georgia (Gerald) Baker; his nephew, George Cody Baker; and his father and mother in law, John and Thelma Leath.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wilma Leath Long; his children, Michael Long and Bridget Long; grandchildren, Katelyn Jones and Michael Long, Jr; great grandson, Braxton Matthew Jones; his sister, Ginger (Ron) Ford; brother, Morris (Faith) Long; he leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Thursday (May 20) at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Jerry Kinney officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.
