May 30, 1960 — April 17, 2014
Debra Lynn (Blevins) Bolton, 53 of Cawood, KY passed from this life Thursday April 17, 2014 at the Harlan ARH after a long battle with cancer.
Debra was the daughter of Frankie (Clem) Barrett and Husband William “Bill” Barrett of Cawood and Burley Blevins, Jr and wife Elizabeth of Tennessee; she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Will and Daisy Clem; George and Nancy Blevins; an infant sibling and an infant nephews.
Besides her parents she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Glen Bolton; 2 sons, Glen Eric Bolton of New Tazewell, TN and Joseph Bolton of Cawood; 3 honorary adopted children, Ric Johnson, Jessica Hubbard and Jennifer Jeffers; 2 sisters, Kathy Sawyers of Lexington, KY and Gina Dodson and husband Don of Florence, KY; a very special aunt, Jackie Clem McKenzie; she leaves a host of other children who love her; 24 nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday April 20, 2014 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Lenarue Baptist Church.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the church with Rev. Joe Howard officiating.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Monday April 21, 2014 at the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 9:30 am to proceed to the cemetery.
