Deborah Kaye Cawood

Deborah Kaye Cawood, 55 of Harlan, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Harlan ARH following a short illness. 

She is preceded in death by her sister, Regina Pennington Buress, and her son, James Edward Marlowe. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of 30 years, James C. Cawood, her sister, Cheryl Thompson of Baxter, Kentucky, four children; Ashley Cawood of Dayhoit, Kentucky, Joanna Buress of Harlan, Kentucky, Jamie Cawood of Cedurtown, Georgia, and Ashley Fournier of Harlan, Kentucky. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, a special niece, and other family and friends to mourn her passing.

A gathering of family and friends to remember the life of Deborah will be 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Friday (March 8) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home of Harlan.
