David Parsons
August 11, 1975 — September 21, 2017
David Kevin Parsons, 42 of Willow Spring, went to be with his Lord and Savior September 21, 2017. David was born in Harlan, Kentucky and spent his childhood living in a small town playing baseball and riding bikes. He grew to become a proud Marine and showed honor, courage and commitment in his every day life. He enjoyed hosting family, friends, and neighbors at his home for holidays and gatherings.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Parsons; daughters, Kimberlie Parsons and Cortney Parsons; step-daughters, Rebecca Griffin and spouse, David Padron, and Jessica Griffin; mother, Shirley Parsons; brothers Doug Parsons and Brian Parsons; nieces and nephews, Chloe, Noah and Rozlyn; step-granddaughter, Avery; aunt, Phyllis Wilke; uncle, James Smith; and many extended family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marcella Smith.
A visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Williford Funeral Home, 201 East Academy St., Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. Funeral service will be Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Williford Funeral Home Chapel. Military burial pending.
