Danny Ray Lewis, 54 of Harlan passed away Monday May 6, 2013 at the Harlan ARH.
Danny was born June 24, 1958 in Leslie Co. to the late Arthur Lewis and Tilda Turner Lewis. He worked most of his life as a Coal Miner.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Joseph.
He is survived by his fiancée, Katherine Bailey of Harlan; 3 children, Brent Lewis of Hazard, Nikki Lewis of Leslie Co., and Gary Lewis of Loyall; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Hobert Lee Lewis and Roy Lewis; 5 sisters, Haddie Pennington, Lisa Lewis, Darlene Roberts, Robin Lewis, and Glenda Lewis; he leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Saturday May 11, 2013 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Joseph Cemetery on Masons Creek in Perry Co., KY.
