Coburn Turner

  Coburn Turner, 83 of Bledsoe, KY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday afternoon of August 9, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. 
  He was born on February 10, 1940 to Otis and Alice Beatrice Boggs Turner. He was a member of Sandhill Primitive Church in Cumberland, KY.
  Beside his parents he was preceded in death by 20 days, his beloved of 61 years, Phyllis K. Turner who passed on July 20, 2023; Three sisters, Vernell Turner, Jewel Miniard and Opal Mullins; a brother , Eldon Turner.
  He is survived by his loving children, Sherry (Wesley) Ballew of Bono, AR, Linda (Doug) Napier of Bledsoe, KY, Tim Turner of Partridge, KY and Douglas (Taunya) Turner of Nicholasville, KY; nine grandchildren, Jacob Napier, Ashley Ballew, Amy Ballew McDaniel, Aaron Ballew, Ashton Sullivan, Kayla Perkins, Andrew Turner, Ethan Turner and Micah Turner; Seven great grandchildren, Hunter Napier (who was born on Coburn's birthday in 2007), Mason McDaniel, Taylynn Napier, Ella McDaniel, Tanner Perkins, Lakelynn Napier and Casen Perkins; two brothers, Clayton (Jean) Turner of Dayton, OH and Lonnie (Fran) Turner of Zambia, Africa; one sister, Audrey Bargo of Harlan.
  Visitation will be 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Saturday (Aug. 12) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home. 
  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm Saturday (Aug. 12) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence Ramsey and Bro. Bobby Boggs officiating.                                                                                                                             Burial will follow in the Big Laurel Cemetery, Big Laurel, KY with Military Rites being observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.  Grandsons honored to serve as Pallbearers will be Jacob Napier, Aaron Ballew, Andrew Turner, Ethan Turner, Micah Turner and Dustin Perkins.
  Honorary Pallbearers are Hunter Napier, Tyler McDaniel, Mason McDaniel, Tanner Perkins and Casen Perkins.
