Clarence Johnson, 83 of Teetersville, KY passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon of July 22, 2018 with family surrounding him.

Clarence was born Aug. 5, 1934 in Harlan to the late Lee and Emma Mullins Johnson. He was a retired coal miner.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Mary Johnson; his 2nd wife Charlene Johnson; brothers, Roy, Julius, John Henry Johnson, and Eddie Noe; sisters, Haley and Evelyn Johnson, Elizabeth Saylor, and Eva Blum; 1 great grandchild, Lexi Marlowe.

He is survived by his loving children, Loretta (Denver) Brock, Sue (Noble) Howard, Alisha (Chris) Sergent, Billy (Susie) Johnson, Jerry (Karen) Johnson, Sherry (Fred) Jones, Dolly (Greg) Combs, and Clarence Johnson, Jr.; Grandchildren, Lacosta Nantz, Pino Brock, Aundra Brock, Carolyne Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Misty Smith, Daniel Howard, Katilyn Sergent, Asher Sergent, Brantley Johnson, Paul North, Michael North, Fred Marlowe, Anthony Marlowe, Rebecca Combs, and Angela Barcenas; great grandchildren, Hannah Nantz, Alex Nantz, Chandler Brock, Angel Brock, Jaden Brock, Caden Brock, Caleb Brock, Evan Brock, Daniel Howard, Jr, Ashley Howard, Jordan Howard, Jasmine Smith, Bo Smith, Woody Smith, Jordan Combs, Gracie Pennington, Katie Combs, Maddie Combs, Gregory Combs, Gavin Combs, Jeremiah Marlowe, Savannah Marlowe, Gage Marlowe, Emma North, Starr North, Cassie North, Jordan North, Daisy Johnson, Azrel Johnson, and Lilly  Johnson; brothers, Ernest Johnson and Benny Johnson; sisters, Effie Kaufman and Nadeane Noe; sister in law, Betty Drew. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn his passing.

Visitation is after 6:00 pm Tuesday (July 24) until the funeral hour on Thursday at the Teetersville Church of God.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday (July 25) at the Teetersville Church of God with Rev. Spencer Burkhart, Rev. Denver Brock, and Rev. Mitchell Brock officiating.

Burial will follow in the Wright-Johnson Cemetery at Teetersville.
