Clarence Hubert Fraley, 96, of Loyall, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in his home with his daughters by his side. He was born to the late Paul and Hazel Fraley on February 26, 1927.
Clarence was a lifelong resident of Harlan County and an active member of the Loyall Methodist Church. After dedicating 30 years of service as a Railroad Carman for CSX Railroad, he retired so he could spend his time doing what he loved- taking care of his loving wife of 68 years, spending time with his great grandchildren and working in his shop.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife, Betty June; father in law and mother in law, Albert and Lola White; infant daughter, Linda Gail; brothers, Charles Fraley and Raymond Fraley; sisters, Helen Saulenas, Josephine Milsap and Betty Smith; brother in law, Ernest White; and beloved son in law, Don White.
Surviving are his loving daughters Brenda (David) Sullivan and Kathy White; Grandchildren Aimee (Mike) Pace and Jeff (Ashley) Sullivan; Great Grandchildren Laura (Zach) Doss, Tyler Carmical, Mia Claire Pace, Tucker Sullivan, Colton Sullivan and Nate Sullivan; sister in law Dorothy White; he leaves a host nieces, nephews, other family, friends, and his dear church family to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be after 1:00 Friday (Nov. 9) until the funeral hour at Loyall Methodist Church.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm Friday at the Loyall Methodist Church with Rev. Arnold Hammons and Rev. Paul White officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Sullivan, Mike Pace, Tyler Carmical, Tucker Sullivan, Zach Doss, Felix Roark and Brent Bargo.
Honorary Pallbearers are David Sullivan and the Loyall Methodist Church Men's Sunday School Class.
In Lieu of flowers the family ask memorials be made to Loyall Methodist Church, PO Box 323, Loyall, KY 40854 in memory of Mr. Fraley.
