Christine Amber Cornett

January 27, 1996 — January 6, 2017

Christine Amber Cornett, 20 of Totz passed away Friday Jan. 6, 2017 after a courageous fight with Cystic Fibrosis.

She was born in Harlan on Jan. 27, 1996 to William Cornett and Ginger Fields. She was a 2015 graduate of Harlan Co. High School and attended Putney Bible Church. She enjoyed arts, crafts, playing the flute, and any kind of music. She was an advocate of Cystic Fibrosis and educating people of the importance of organ donation.  She was a recipient of a double lung transplant on Feb. 4, 2013.

She is survived by her father, William Cornett and her mother, Ginger Fields; her grandparents, Vercel and Margie Cornett, David and Linda Fields; sisters, Samantha Cornett Cleaver and Emily Ryann Cornett; little brother, Anthony “Tony” Marsh; brother in law, Jimmy Cleaver; nephew, Bradley Cleaver, and soon to be niece, Megan Cleaver; special friend, Robbie Begley; and her best friends, Desiree Bowman and Kayla Halcomb; she leaves other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Monday (Jan. 9) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday (Jan. 10) in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Britt Lawson, III officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cornett Family Cemetery at Nolansburg with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
