Cherish Michelle Stewart, 38, of Cranks, Kentucky passed away on March 28, 2024 at the home of her parents following a courageous battle with cancer.
Cherish was born on October 28, 1985 in Harlan, Kentucky to Robert and Judy Simpson. She believed in the Baptist faith, and attended Sunshine Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, and taught home school. Cherish also enjoyed flowers and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Bob and Bekky Simpson, mother-in-law; Dorothy Stewart, and nephew; Jordan Ledford.
She is survived by her parents; Robert and Judy Simpson of Cranks, KY, her husband; Danny Stewart of Cranks, KY, her son; Aiden Stewart of Cranks, KY, grandmother; Loretta Couch of Kildav, KY, brothers; Brandon Simpson of Pineville, KY and Jonathan (Michelle) Simpson of Cranks, KY, and sister; Christy (Vernon) Ledford of Richmond, KY. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Sunday (March 31) from 5 to 7 PM at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Monday (April 1) at 12:00 PM in the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Travis Moore officiating.
Burial will follow the funeral service in the Surgener's Amazing Grace Cemetery in Cranks, Kentucky.
Robert O'Neal, Ryan O'Neal, Archie Stewart, Danny Stewart, Jonathan Simpson and Robert Simpson will serve as Pallbearers.
