Celia Elaine Sargent, 55 of Grays Knob entered her heavenly home on Friday May 24, 2013.
A devoted wife, mother, nana, and Christian, she was a member of the Grays Knob Church of God. Her family & God were her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Geneva Adkins Shepherd; 2 brothers, Denzil and Glennis Shepherd.
Survivors are her loving husband of 38 years, Elige Sargent of Grays Knob; 2 daughters, Angel Gross of Grays Knob, and Amber (Shae) Keith of Cumberland; 3 grandchildren, Kierstyn, Kaylea, and Bryan Eligah Gross all of Grays Knob; 2 sisters, Nody Brown of Columbus, OH, Penny (Rufus) Shipman of Evarts; 5 brothers, Bill (Debbie) Shepherd of Smith, Richard Shepherd of Dayton, OH, David Shepherd of Barbourville, KY, Kenneth Shepherd of Harlan, and Kevin (Twilla) Shepherd of Harlan; 3 special sister in laws, Faye King, Billie Sargent and Evelyn Sargent all of Grays Knob; she also leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be 5-8:00 pm Tuesday May 28, 2013 at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Don Smith officiating.
Graveside services will be 12:00 pm Wednesday May 29, 2013 at the Grays Knob Cemetery.
