Carolyn Langford

Carolyn S. Langford, 67 of Harlan passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Harlan ARH.

Carolyn was born August 25, 1948 in Harlan to the late Lester and Maggie Payne Williams. She had just recently retired as Office Manager for Hospice of The Bluegrass, for the last 12 years she had been employed by the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home where she created lasting memories through DVD’s for families served by the funeral home. She was very active with the Relay for Life, and helped organize the Survivors dinner for many years. She loved her family, was involved in all of their activities, especially her grandchildren. Hobbies included photography, genealogy, and quilting.

Survivors are her daughters, Rhonda (Dave) Price of Springfield, OH and Angel Langford of Harlan; grandchildren, Elissa Quesenberry, Matthew (Jessica) Quesenberry, Blake Quesenberry, Chiah Davis, Manny Davis, Scottie Helton, and Skylar Helton; great grandchildren, Cooper, Evan, Austin, Isabella, Grace and Sophia; 1 brother, Danny (Pam) Williams of Cranks; three sisters, Ruth Hensley of Springfield, OH, Joyce (Bob) Stapleton of Olive Hill, KY, and Lois Doolin of Springfield, OH; she had two nieces who were like sisters to her, Becky Davis and Peggy Henson both of Springfield, OH; she leaves other nieces, nephews, cousin, and many friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be Friday (June 24) from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday (June 24) in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Howell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Harlan Co. Memorial Gardens at Tremont where she will be laid to rest beside of her beloved parents.

Pallbearers will be Danny Williams, Manny Davis, Damon Williams, Justin Williams, Matthew Quesenberry, Blake Quesenberry, Dave Price, and Thomas Carnes.

Honorary Pallbearers will be George and Paul Williams.
