Arizona "Rabbit" Fields

Arizona "Rabbit" Fields, 82 of Cawood, KY passed away Monday evening of August 29, 2022 at the Middlesboro Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following a long illness.
Rabbit was born April 10, 1940 in Harlan Co., KY to the late Boyd and Helen Starrett Sowders. She was retired from the Harlan Co. Board of Education where she had served as Secretary at Cawood Elementary School. Before her health began to decline she attended Friendship Baptist Church of Cawood.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Adrian "Abe" Fields, Sr; her children, Connie Fields and Adrian "Abe" Fields, Jr.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Abbigail Fields, Adrian "Abe" Fields, III (Brother) and Adrianna Day; daughter in law, Jessica Fields; special cousins, Joyce Hoskins and James (Martha) Slusher; she leaves a host of other cousins, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
In keeping with her wishes, a simple graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Friday (Sept. 2) at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel, Keith, KY with Rev. Sean Daniels officiating.
She will be laid to rest beside of her husband in the Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
