Angeleta "Angie" Chris Short

   Angeleta "Angie" Chris Short, 61 of Bledsoe passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday June 14, 2023.
   Angie was born February 17, 1962 in Chicago, IL to the late Nelson Short and Maxine Wilson. She was a homemaker who enjoyed music, dancing and most of all spending time with her family.
   Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her life long companion and father of her children, Curtis Wayne Asher.
   She is survived by her loving children, Christopher Short, Neil (Tonya) Short, and Megan (Kevin) Cavins; grandchildren, Ashley Jade, Taten and Cedney Short; her sister, Angela Campbell Plank and a special cousin, Chanda Owens for whom she loved like a sister; she leaves other family and friends to mourn her passing. 
   A gathering of family and friends will be 2:00 - 4:00 pm Saturday (June 17) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831.
   All other services will be private in keeping with Angie's wishes.
