Amy Denise Epperson Sanders

Amy Denise Epperson Sanders, 51 of Loyall passed away peacefully at her home on Monday morning of April 14, 2025 while surrounded by her loving family.

Amy was born November 27, 1973 in Harlan, KY to Willie and Marsha Ellis Epperson. She was a homemaker and member of the Grays Knob Church of God where she enjoyed working with the youth. She enjoyed cooking and canning.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Roy Thomas Sanders; her grandparents, John and Ruth Epperson, Clarence and Isabella Ellis; her cousin, Heather McClung.

Surviving are her parents, Willie and Marsha Epperson; her sister, Joy (Jeff) Branson; nieces and nephews, Kelsey (Travis) Helton, Lindsay (Dalton) Baker, Jacob Branson, Trey (Jocelyn) Sanders, Amber Sanders, Nicole Blevins; great nieces and nephews, Lydia, Lakyn and Micah Helton, Eli, Samuel and Asher Baker, Wesley and Wylie Sanders, Emerson Sanders, Jaycee and Nolan Simpson, brother in laws, Bobby Joe (Mistie) Sanders and Chris Sanders; she leaves a host of uncle, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Thursday (April 17) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday (April 18) at the Grays Knob Church of God with Rev. Josh Doyle and Rev. Ronnie Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY where she will be laid to rest beside of her beloved husband, Roy.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Branson, Jeff Branson, Rick Rodriguez, Bobby Joe Sanders, Ronnie Williams, Steven Ray, and Dickie Posey.
