Alma Neff, 94, of Putney, KY passed away on Wednesday Evening of September 16, 2026.

Alma believed in the Church of God faith. She was a Sunday school teacher, loved to travel and take cruises. She enjoyed fishing and being with her family.

Alma is preceded in death by her husband Fred Carson Neff. Her parents, Alex Couch and Ollie Turner Couch. Brothers, Alvis Couch and Sidney C. Couch. She is also preceded in death by her grandson, T.J. Boggs and great granddaughters Allie Duncan and Nevaeh Harrell.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth “Libby” Young (Dione, KY), Loretta (Mack) Brock (Putney, KY), Hershell (Trish) Young (Putney, KY), Carla (Jerry) Hartsell (Rutledge, TN) and Stephanie (Bradley) Harrell (Rutledge, TN). Her brother Tommy Couch (Wallins, KY). Alma is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and friends to mourn her passing.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am -1:00 pm on Monday September 21, 2026 at Anderson Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Anderson Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Turner officiating.

Burial will follow in the Couch Cemetery at Putney, KY. Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers.
