Alma Fee, 89 of Loyall, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on February 18, 1935 in Cawood, Kentucky to the late Hobart Johnson and Nannie Faye Collins. She was a lifelong resident of Harlan County, and believed in the Pentecostal faith. She had worked as a waitress at Ackley Restaurant and Green Mill. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed growing her vegetable garden. She loved to sit and talk to others.
Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by four siblings; Donald Johnson, Fred Johnson, Helen Vanover, and Coburn Greene, her husband; James O. Fee, two daughters; Teresa Biondo and Diana Miller, and two son-in-laws; James A. Miller and Tim Howard.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory to her brother; Hobart Johnson Jr. of Harlan, Kentucky, sister; Alice Waddell of Indianapolis, Indiana, 4 daughters; Belinda (Ben) Williams of Searcy, Arkansas, Kay Howard of Locust Grove, Georgia, Cheryl Fee of Haynesville, North Carolina, and Donna Fee of Loyall, Kentucky, grandchildren; Brett (Allie) Howard of Georgia, Lydia (Jody) Gomez of Georgia, Ev Williams of Arkansas, Ashley and Dante Biondo of Minnesota, great-granchildren; Emiline and Mason Howard of Georgia.
Visitation will be Wednesday (May 1) from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Thursday (May 2) at 1:00 PM in the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Wheeler and Bro. Ben Williams officiating.
Burial will follow at the Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, Kentucky.
