Alka Lee Bennett

   Alka Lee Bennett, 97 of Harlan passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning of June 21, 2023 at her home.

   Alka was born March 26, 1926 in Harlan to the late Green and Nellie Burkhart Crider. She was a homemaker and believed in the Church of God faith.

   Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Corin Bennett; and several siblings.

   She is survived by her son, Terry W. Day of Harlan; sister, Marilyn Stewart of Ages, KY; grandson, Kenny Day of Tennessee; special friend and caregiver, Zena Thomas of Harlan; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends are left to mourn her passing.

    At this time there will be no services.
